Finalists Announced for the 8th Annual KIRA Awards
Fredericton, NB -- The count down is on to the 8th annual KIRA Awards, hosted by Enterprise Fredericton. With just a few weeks left before the May 4th gala, the Awards Selection Committee has finished its review and has provided the list of finalists to the KIRA Awards Organizing Committee.
With public and private sector representatives from all Regions of New Brunswick and several outside the province, the Awards Selection Committee remains separate and confidential from the Organizing Committee.

“This was another record year for nominations,” said KIRA 2006 Organizing Committee Co-chair, Heather-Anne MacLean. “It must have been a difficult decision for the Awards Selection Committee to narrow the nominations down to just these finalists. If all of the nominations were of this calibre, it would have been a difficult process indeed.”
“There certainly is an air of excitement around this year’s KIRA Awards,” said Lori MacMullen KIRA 2006 Organizing Committee Co-Chair. “We sold out even earlier than normal this year and the level of enquiries about participation was exceptional.”
KIRA is an annual celebration recognizing the successes and innovations of individuals and companies within New Brunswick’s Knowledge Industry.
