One of Canada’s 10 Sexiest Men to Host KIRA Awards
Fredericton, NB -- One of the most authoritative broadcaster commenting today on the political life of Canada will be this year’s emcee at the 9th annual KIRA Awards, which will be held on May 3rd at the Delta Fredericton. Hosted by Enterprise Fredericton, the KIRA Awards celebrate New Brunswick’s Knowledge Industry by recognizing companies and individuals for Technological Advancement/Innovation, Most Promising Start-up, Industry Person of the Year and more.
With decades of experience on Parliament Hill, CTV's Mike Duffy is widely recognized as an "Ottawa Insider". As the Toronto Star put it, he is the reporter to whom other journalists listen for insight. Mike currently hosts Mike Duffy Live, seen nightly at 6 pm ADT on CTV NewsNET. Over the years, Mike has received numerous awards for his work. His most cherished award came a few years ago from the editors of Chatelaine magazine, who selected Mike as "ONE OF CANADA'S 10 SEXIEST MEN.
"I am certainly looking forward to being the emcee for this year's KIRA Awards," stated Mike Duffy. "Being able to come back to the region where I was born, for an event that is important to not only the region, but also the economy of the country is most gratifying. I look forward to meeting all the finalists for this important event."
