Finalists Announced for the 9th Annual KIRA Awards
Fredericton, NB -- The count down is on to the 9th annual KIRA Awards, hosted by Enterprise Fredericton. With just a few weeks left before the May 3rd gala, the Awards Selection Committee have finished their review and have provided the list of the finalists to the KIRA Awards Organizing Committee. The Awards Selection Committee, which remains separate and confidential from the Organizing Committee, is comprised of representatives from the Public and Private Sectors and are located both within New Brunswick and across Canada.

“This was another fantastic year for nominations,” said KIRA 2007 Co-Chair, Heather-Anne MacLean. “It must have been a difficult decision for the Awards Selection Committee to narrow the nominations down to just these finalists. If all of the nominations were of this calibre, it would have been a difficult process indeed.”
“There certainly is an air of excitement around this year’s KIRA Awards,” said Lori MacMullen KIRA 2007 Co-Chair. “We sold out even earlier than normal last year and we expect the same to happen this year.”
