Welcome to the online KIRA nomination form. This year we are happy to announce that the nominations will be done entirely online. Another key change will be the category structure for the 2011 KIRA Awards. As we have done from time to time in the past, to better reflect the changing landscape of the knowledge industry.

**Remember that you can nominate more than one company and also nominate a company in multiple categories. However, you will need to submit a new nomination for each.

Employment Growth

This award recognizes the contribution of a company within New Brunswick to the growth of the province's IT industry through employment creation and maintenance. Note, numbers alone will not be the only deciding factor of this award. The formula for calculating employment growth will be current year minus past year, divided by past year, with the solution expressed as a percentage (ie, we are looking for the difference between what you are and what you were, divided by what you were; you don't just divide what you are by what you were.)

So if you had 50 employees and now you have 100, you have grown by 100-50 = 50 divided by 50= 1 =100%. Remember that if you double in size you have not grown by 200%, you have grown by 100%.
